In case anyone was wondering, the Sox magic number is now 102. That puts them on track to clinch by late August. Go ahead and throw 1978 out but it ain't happening this year.
By the way, is it me or will it be a little anticlimactic if the Yankees are officially out of it by the time that Roger joins the team next week?
